Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has also implemented the arrangement after the decision to grant two days off a week was published in the Gazette on Sunday.

The Human Resource Management Department of Nepal Rastra Bank has published a notice and made new arrangements regarding bank holidays and office hours. Now, the Rastra Bank has also decided to grant public holidays every Saturday and Sunday in all its departments, divisions, offices and units, effective from Monday (Chait 23).

Office hours have been fixed from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday. From Kartik 16 to Magh 15, office hours have been fixed from 9 am to 4 pm. The central bank has decided to maintain banking transaction hours from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. From Kartik 16 to Magh 15, banking transaction hours have been fixed from 9 am to 3 pm.

Similarly, the Central Bank issued a circular on Sunday night stating that office hours have been changed and that the arrangement will be implemented from Monday.
